With a total project cost of 12.392 billion KRW, this project will build a new structure based on the final design plan expressing ‘a free and dynamic youth activity space and a youth exchange place communicating with the local community,’ consisting of one basement floor and seven above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 1,533.39㎡.
Main facilities include a youth community space caf? & bar on the 2nd floor; multipurpose auditorium and seminar rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors for events; private individual studios and one-person media rooms on the 5th floor; and coworking offices, youth startup incubation rooms, and shared kitchens on the 6th and 7th floors.
The district plans to support Gwanak Cheongnyeoncheong to establish itself as a mecca for Gwanak youth by serving as an open space for youth and a youth policy hub combining employment, startups, cultural and artistic activities, and community through various programs that nurture youth potential.
