Comedian Noh Woo-jin Sentenced to Probation in First Trial for Drunk Driving
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] Comedian Noh Woo-jin, who caused controversy due to drunk driving, has been sentenced to probation.
On the 5th, Judge Sung Bo-gi of the Seoul Southern District Court Criminal Division 2 sentenced comedian Noh Woo-jin, who was tried on charges of drunk driving, to one year in prison with a two-year probation.
Earlier, Noh was indicted on charges of driving under the influence on Olympic-daero in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, in July. At the time of detection, Noh's blood alcohol concentration was at a level warranting license cancellation, and it was confirmed that there were no passengers in the vehicle.

Noh's side stated, "He sincerely regrets his actions" and added, "He will not appeal."
