Gwangju Chamber of Commerce, the Hub of Business Activities, Renovates Its Main Conference Room
Remodeling Completion Ceremony... Equipped with Large LED Display, Sound, and Stage Lighting Devices
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced that on the 4th, it held a completion ceremony for the remodeling of the conference room in the chamber building on the 7th floor, attended by about 50 people including Jeong Chang-seon, Chairman of Gwangju Chamber of Commerce, Kim Hong-gyun, Chairman of Namsun Petroleum Co., Ltd., and Kim Hyun-chul, CEO and President of Kumho Express Co., Ltd.
The Gwangju Chamber's conference room, completed in 1985, was used for various events as a regional convention venue for some time, but recently, due to outdated facilities, it has been very difficult for local companies to utilize it.
This remodeling project was carried out through a restricted bidding process in July this year. The interior design and planning were handled by a Seoul-based company, while the construction was assigned to a local company, with work progressing for about two months from early September to the end of October.
The remodeled conference room spans a total area of 859㎡ (260 pyeong) and is equipped with meeting spaces, a VIP room, a lounge, as well as a 230-inch LED display, sound system, and stage lighting equipment, enabling various events such as corporate seminars and forums.
