Rhapsody Echo v1.5 Released to Support External Collaboration with Manufacturers and Pasu
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Pasoo announced on the 3rd that it has released Rhapsody Eco v1.5, which supports safe and efficient external collaboration in the manufacturing sector.
Due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), non-face-to-face work with clients, engineers, constructors, and partner companies is increasing in the manufacturing industry as well. The demand to build a system that can safely share and conveniently collaborate on core assets such as design drawings (CAD) has also increased. Pasoo has expanded the support scope of the next-generation external collaboration solution, Rhapsody Eco, to include design drawings and improved usability, releasing it anew.
Rhapsody Eco supports internal users and external partner companies to collaborate safely and efficiently based on workgroups and documents. Rhapsody Eco encrypts important documents including design drawings and enables usage permission control and audit tracking such as viewing, editing, and printing. It minimizes leakage threats when collaborating with multiple partners. Document recipients are designated so that no one other than the specified person can access the drawing files, and a destruction date can be set so that documents are automatically destroyed after that date. By applying document virtualization technology, important document sharing and checking the latest version are possible without going through various communication channels such as email or FTP.
Pasoo CEO Gyugon Cho introduced, "With the normalization of non-face-to-face work, the need for safe external collaboration solutions is increasing among manufacturing companies that share important documents such as design drawings with many partner companies."
