On the 1st (local time), President Trump tweeted, "The legendary actor Connery must have moved on to an even greener fairway," expressing his condolences to the bereaved family.
President Trump said, "He was a real manly man and tough," adding, "He was a great actor, a great person, and respected by everyone."
He also shared his connection with Connery. President Trump revealed, "When I was having difficulties obtaining approval for a large development project in Scotland, Connery once said, 'Let me build that damn thing.' After that, everything went smoothly."
However, he did not explain what the development project referred to.
