Pohang City Offers Free Water Sports Experience 'Mulbit Tour' ... "Beginners Welcome"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] Pohang City announced on the 1st that it will conduct the '2020 Mulbit Tour - Free Water Sports Experience' at three locations: Haesang Park, Pohang Canal, and Water Leisure Town until the 15th.
The experience, which started on October 30, is composed of pedal boats, kayaks, and dinghy yachts that anyone, including beginners, can easily enjoy on the calm Hyeongsan River and canal, as well as the sea where marine sports were mainly conducted.
At Haesang Park located in Songdo-dong, the program runs from Friday to Sunday. On Fridays, it operates three times from 6 PM to 9 PM, and on weekends, it runs eight times from 11 AM to 9 PM. Pedal boats and kayaks can be experienced here. As side events, programs that families with children can enjoy together are also offered, such as weekend waterboard events, making disinfectants, survival bracelets, color beads, and underwater VR experiences.
At Pohang Canal, LED kayak experiences are available three times from 6 PM to 9 PM on Fridays and weekends, and at Water Leisure Town, dinghy yachts and kayaks for experience are available three times from 10 AM to 5 PM on weekends.

These experiences do not require special skills, so anyone can easily participate. The participants are limited to Pohang citizens. Considering COVID-19, the number of participants is restricted to about 20 to 30 people per session and family units.
