'Appreciation Delivery,' operated by Shinhan Card, is an internal program that collects and selects stories of praise and gratitude among employees and delivers customized gifts tailored to the recipients. Content reflecting the praise stories, including messages to the recipients, is produced and broadcast through the internal broadcasting channel D. It first started in June last year, and Season 2 is being conducted this year thanks to the positive response from employees.
With changes in work styles due to the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), such as separated and remote work, video conferencing, and expanded flexible working hours, communication among employees has become even more important. Accordingly, Shinhan Card utilized this program to establish its unique organizational culture of warm interest and consideration for even small matters among employees.
Employees who want to express gratitude to their seniors, juniors, or colleagues personally filmed the process of making spotlights, diffusers, ceramics, and lunchboxes in vlog format. Comedians Song Byung-chul and Kim Dae-sung, invited as appreciation delivery riders, delivered video messages and gifts to the recipients, which were broadcast company-wide to convey emotion and vitality.
In particular, in connection with the 'Euljiro 3-ga Project,' which is being promoted for regional coexistence and development where Shinhan Card's headquarters is located in Euljiro, gifts were selected from products such as the handmade burger specialty store Cheongsihaeng and the ceramic workshop Dot, adding significance to the initiative.
