View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 1st that it operated a 'Forest Healing Healing Program' for teachers at the National Jangseong Forest Center from the 29th to the 31st of last month.
This forest healing program was conducted to enhance the motivation for educational activities and create a healthy teaching atmosphere by providing psychological and mental healing for teachers who have experienced educational activity infringement damage and those suffering from job stress due to COVID-19, among other reasons.
The program was held under the theme 'Healing the Mind Healing 樂, Forest Healing Camp,' inviting healing experts from various fields to conduct experiential activities. It featured stress relief and physical immunity recovery programs utilizing various forest healing factors of the Jangseong Cypress Healing Forest.
Additionally, the detailed programs included ▲ Tea Therapy ▲ Nordic Walking ▲ Forest Five Senses Therapy ▲ Cypress Forest Trekking ▲ Hammock Rest Meditation ▲ Pottery Experience, and continuous management will be maintained through follow-up counseling after the camp.
The Office of Education plans to expand the healing-healing program by identifying the demand of teachers wishing to participate and will additionally conduct temple stay healing programs at Heungguksa Temple in Yeosu and Mihwangsa Temple in Haenam later this month.
