Rural-themed Film Festival Held in Gochang... 'Nation's First'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk, will hold the 3rd Gochang Rural Film Festival at 7 p.m. on the 30th at the county agricultural products distribution center.
According to Gochang-gun, this year's festival slogan is "Watching #Movies #Barley in Gochang," and due to social distancing measures related to COVID-19, it will be conducted in a "drive-in cinema" format.
Before the event, tenor Lee Sungjin and soprano Go Eunyoung will perform beautiful melodies of movie OST music.
The opening film of the festival is "Pawn," directed by Kang Daekyu. Director Kang will attend in person to introduce the film and interact with the audience.

Jin Giyoung (NH Nonghyup Gochang Branch Manager), chairman of the Gochang Rural Film Festival organizing committee, said, "When the heart is troubled, watching movies with good people can be helpful," and added, "As the 3rd edition of the Gochang Rural Film Festival, the nation's first film festival themed on rural areas, we will do our best to maintain its legacy."
