[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Major European stock markets are mostly showing a unified upward trend in the early trading session. After mixed movements at the start of trading, major markets have been expanding their gains as time progresses.
As of 5:40 PM KST on the 29th, the UK FTSE 100 index is up 17.44 points (0.31%) from the previous trading day, standing at 5600.24, while the French CAC 40 index has also risen 22.47 points (0.49%) to 4593.59.

Germany and Spain are also showing simultaneous gains. The German DAX 30 index is up 93.15 points (0.81%) from the previous day, reaching 11,653.66, and the Spanish IBEX 35 index has increased by 0.40 points (0.01%) to 6474.80.
