CJ Logistics Ranks First in UN Sustainable Development Management Index for Two Consecutive Years
Including SK, Korean Air, and 6 other companies with the top group... The only logistics company
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] CJ Logistics announced on the 29th that it has been selected for the second consecutive year as part of the top group in the '2020 UN Sustainable Development Goals Business Index (SDGBI)' published by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The SDGBI is an expanded concept of the existing UN SDGs evaluation index, measuring corporate activities based on 48 indicators across 12 items in four areas: social, environmental, economic, and institutional. It has been published since 2016 and is a global sustainability evaluation index officially adopted as a statement at the UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF).
This SDGBI was conducted targeting about 1,000 domestic companies, and CJ Logistics was named in the top group along with SK, Korean Air, Ildong Pharmaceutical, Hyundai Home Shopping, and Hyundai Engineering. Among comprehensive logistics companies, CJ Logistics was the only one included for two consecutive years.
