Chosun University and Goheung Bongrae Elementary School Successfully Complete 'AI·SW Robot Coding Experience Classroom'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The SW-Centered University Project Group at Chosun University announced on the 27th that it operated the ‘2020 Goheung Bongnae Elementary School AI (Artificial Intelligence)·SW Robot Coding Experience Classroom’ program at Goheung Bongnae Elementary School on the 23rd.
This program is part of the ‘Coding and AI (Artificial Intelligence) Art in the 4th Industrial Revolution Era’ program conducted by the SW-Centered University Project Group to expand the base of SW·AI in the Jeonnam region.
It was designed as a curriculum to help elementary school students understand the concepts of AI·SW at their level, coding using robots, and exploring related career paths.
Students who participated in the education said, “Today’s class sparked great interest in software, artificial intelligence, and coding, which we usually do not encounter at school.”

Professor Jo Youngjoo, in charge, said, “As many countries emphasize the importance of SW·AI education in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, we are conducting this program with the hope that opportunities for SW·AI education will increase in schools in the Jeonnam region,” adding, “We will continue to be the SW-Centered University Project Group leading SW·AI education in Honam.”
