Son Urgently Arrested for Beating Father in His 80s to Death

According to the police, A is accused of fatally beating his father B (83) with punches to the face and abdomen at an apartment in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, around 8 p.m. the previous day. The police urgently arrested A at a motel in Nowon-gu.
A, who had been receiving treatment for schizophrenia for about 20 years, reportedly said at the time of arrest that he believed his father was trying to kill him.
