Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Anycar Introduces Real-Time Vehicle Damage Location Verification System
Real-time Video Enables Inspection and Consultation on Accident Vehicle Damage Parts
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Anycar has introduced a system on the 26th that allows customers to check vehicle damage in real time through their smartphones and consult with compensation staff during the automobile insurance accident handling process.
Accident customers can easily use the service by receiving a text message containing a system access link without installing a separate app.
When the customer clicks the link, a real-time video connection with the compensation staff is established, and the staff can remotely check the vehicle damage situation through the smartphone camera screen shown by the customer.
During the video connection, features such as screen zoom, damage area checking with a live pen, and real-time recording are also available, making consultations between customers and compensation staff much smoother.
After using the system, repair shops commented, "With quick vehicle inspection, compensation staff do not need to wait to arrive and can check in real time and start repairs immediately, reducing work time," and customers praised, "It is more trustworthy to check through real-time video than simply confirming damage areas with photos."
This system is available on all devices regardless of the customer's carrier or phone model. However, 2G phones are not supported.
