According to Russian local media such as RIA Novosti, on the 22nd (local time), the Primorsky Krai regional government announced that an oil spill accident occurred in Nakhodka, with water pollution covering an area of approximately 34,775 square meters. The Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources is estimating that the spill originated from the fuel facilities of a company supplying oil to ships, and they are currently collecting samples from the affected waters to analyze the exact cause of the pollution.
