[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 17th at noon, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, Seoul, attended the "Chuchu Market," a flea market held near the Gyeongchun Line Forest Trail Visitor Center.
The "Chuchu Market" was organized to provide opportunities for ordinary residents and students to exhibit and sell purely creative handmade crafts, serving as a stepping stone for jobs and startups.
At the event, 21 teams selected through a prior open recruitment exhibited and sold 14 types of works, including knitted items, handmade accessories, tumblers, and shopping bags.
Additionally, experience booths were operated where children could enjoy activities such as making plaster air fresheners and face painting.

The "Chuchu Market," conducted in cooperation with the Nowon Green Campus Town Project Group composed of local universities such as Samyook University, Seoul Women's University, and Korea University of Science and Technology, the Gongneung Dream Village Cooperative, and Nowon-gu, will be held regularly on the third Saturday of every month going forward.
