Controversy Over 'Fake Me Too' Park Jin-sung... "No Place for a 'Say Anything' Life," Son Seok-hee Mentioned
[Asia Economy Reporter Hana Na] Poet Park Jin-seong, who left a message implying an extreme choice and went out of contact after facing controversy over a 'fake Me Too,' returned on the 17th to reveal his feelings.
On this day, Park began on his blog by saying, "Just being alive was disgusting and tiresome."
He confessed that he actually considered an extreme choice, saying, "I wandered around Banpo and the area across the river near Yongsan. I even went up on bridges and climbed buildings somewhere in Jongno."
He added, "But then I changed my mind, put on a mask, wore my hat deeply, and walked along the Han River for a long time."
Park also mentioned Son Seok-hee, JTBC president, who publicly interviewed the woman who had accused him of sexual assault on JTBC's 'Newsroom.'
He lamented, "I wonder how former anchor Son Seok-hee feels by now. What kind of heart do people have who ruin someone's life itself just based on suspicion? The news has 'if not, so be it,' but there is no such thing as a 'life of if not, so be it,' and he must know that well. I threw that question into the river and walked for a long time."
Previously, in 2016, Park Jin-seong was accused by two women of forced molestation and other charges but was cleared of all charges after investigation. The women who accused Park were found guilty of false accusation.
Additionally, Park Jin-seong filed a lawsuit for damages against JTBC for publicly broadcasting an interview with the woman who falsely accused him of sexual violence, and he won the case.
Meanwhile, Park Jin-seong suffered great damage, including the suspension of his poetry collection publication, after being labeled a perpetrator due to the 'fake Me Too,' and in 2018, he left a message implying an extreme choice.
