Aekyung Enters Southeast Asia's Largest Platform 'Shopee'

[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Lifestyle beauty company Aekyung Industrial (CEO Jaeyoung Lim) announced on the 15th that it has officially entered 'Shopee,' the largest online commerce platform in Southeast Asia, to strengthen its presence in the Southeast Asian market and online channels.
Aekyung Industrial has opened an official store on Shopee, showcasing its flagship cosmetics brand Age 20's and makeup specialist brand Luna. In the future, it plans to expand its product lineup to include the acne skincare brand A Solution, basic skincare brand Flow, and lifestyle brand Kerasis.
By operating official Aekyung stores in four countries where Shopee has established a presence?Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia?Aekyung Industrial aims to increase brand awareness and trust in its products.
An Aekyung Industrial representative stated, "Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a tremendous global expansion potential in the online market. Following our entry into the U.S. Amazon marketplace in June, we will continue to expand into ASEAN online platforms to promote the excellence of K-beauty products and grow our presence in the global online market."
