Gwangju Shinsegae Opens Luxury Select Shop 'BOONTHESHOP'
Event Hall, 1st Floor Main Building until the 22nd
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Dong-hoon) announced on the 12th that it has set up the luxury select shop ‘BOONTHESHOP Popup Store’ in the main building 1F event hall until the 22nd.
Shinsegae Boontheshop is Korea’s first Shinsegae luxury select shop that introduces various fashion brands ranging from high-end brands to emerging designer brands that are hard to find domestically, and furthermore proposes a new total lifestyle.
Currently, Boontheshop select shops are officially operated at the main store, Gangnam branch, Centum City, and Daegu Shinsegae, and this is the first time since opening that a popup store is being operated on the 1st floor event hall at Gwangju Shinsegae.
In this popup event, 30 men’s brands including Alexander McQueen, Vetements, and Neil Barrett, 21 women’s brands including Maison Margiela and Acne, and 10 shoe brands including Balenciaga and Moncler will participate, totaling about 61 luxury brands.
The total volume is about 2 billion KRW, selling men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, shoes ‘20FW’, and past season products.
