Yangcheon-gu Hosts 'Village Community Festival with Residents'
Various Programs for the 2nd Village Week from the 12th to the 16th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) will hold the '2020 Yangcheon-gu Village Community Festival,' a village festival where residents come together, to mark the 2nd Village Week.
The Village Community Festival, which has been grandly held once a year, will this time be divided into two parts due to COVID-19, introducing the village community to residents over two weeks with various themes.
The first part was held from September 21 to 26, and the second program is scheduled to take place from the 12th to the 16th.
The second event will be held under the following three themes: ▲ 'Environmental Protection and Neighbor Sharing Campaign' practicing environmental protection ▲ 'Our Meeting Boom Boom Boom,' promoting village community resident meetings held throughout the year ▲ 'Village Community Space Tasting,' introducing and allowing experiences at 10 village community spaces.
Additionally, a 'Village Salon' inviting various figures active in the village will be held on the 14th at 8 PM, and the online village cheering campaign 'Ah! Ah! I am the Village Chief,' offering hope and encouragement to overcome COVID-19, will be streamed live on the YouTube channel at 10 AM on the 16th, allowing live participation.
Anyone residing in Yangcheon-gu can participate in the Village Community Festival, but to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community and to ensure smooth program operation, residents wishing to apply are encouraged to pre-register on the Yangcheon-gu Village Community Support Center website.
