GC녹십자엠에스 Signs $19 Million Supply Contract with Polish and Swiss Companies
Ahn Eun-eok CEO "Full-Scale Push into European Market"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seo So-jung] GC Green Cross MS, a company specializing in diagnostic reagents and medical devices (CEO An Eun-eok), announced on the 6th that it has signed a supply contract worth $11 million over the next five years with the Polish company Handprod for blood glucose meters and glycated hemoglobin measurement systems.
It also signed a supply contract worth $8 million with the Swiss company Medisis for novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and influenza combo diagnostic kits, as well as COVID-19 fluorescent immunoassay antigen diagnostic kits. The total export contract amount for both agreements is $19 million, and most of the products are planned to be supplied to the European market.
The company expects that through this contract, the entry of these two products, which have mainly been exported to Asia, Africa, and Latin America, into the European market will be accelerated.

An Eun-eok, CEO of GC Green Cross MS, said, “As concerns about the resurgence of COVID-19 in Europe grow, interest in our COVID-19 and influenza diagnostic kits is increasing,” adding, “Along with the existing point-of-care testing (POCT) business, if we obtain export approval for the fluorescent immunoassay COVID-19 diagnostic kit planned for the end of October, exports will gain further momentum.”
