Assemblyman Min Hyung-bae Joins 'Thank You, Essential Workers' Campaign
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Min Hyung-bae, member of the National Assembly (Democratic Party of Korea·Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Eul), participated in the "Thank You, Essential Workers" campaign on the 4th.
The "Thank You, Essential Workers" campaign is a campaign supporting so-called "essential workers" who have no choice but to perform face-to-face labor, such as healthcare, social welfare, care services, and delivery workers, even during the COVID-19 crisis.
Assemblyman Min participated in the campaign upon the nomination of Moon Seok-jin, Mayor of Seodaemun-gu.
Assemblyman Min posted a photo holding a placard that read "Thank you very much! We support the essential workers" on his SNS, leaving a message of gratitude and support for essential workers.
Assemblyman Min said, "We have prepared to enact the 'Essential Workers Protection and Support Act' to improve the poor working conditions of essential workers, and it will be proposed soon," adding, "We will make further efforts to revise systems and laws so that they are respected and the value of their labor is re-evaluated."
