View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The COVID-19 pandemic has heightened people's awareness and the importance of healthy living. As time spent indoors increased due to COVID-19, new health and lifestyle products that offer comfort are showcasing advanced technology.
According to the industry on the 4th, Cheongho Nice introduced a new 'New Hero' bottom-suction air purifier developed with a focus on the need to clean fine dust that settles on the floor. The New Hero air purifier features a bottom filter structure that makes it easy to absorb fine dust near the floor.
This product was designed based on the fact that there is more fine dust settling closer to the floor due to gravity and that the concentration of floor-level fine dust rapidly decreases when the bottom-suction function of the air purifier operates. It is equipped with both bottom suction and 360-degree omnidirectional suction functions.
Additionally, it applies a 'rotating moving 3-way three-dimensional discharge' function to effectively purify indoor air. It absorbs fine dust from every corner of the room and quickly releases clean air through a three-directional three-dimensional discharge method.
A Cheongho Nice representative said, "Through the launch of the New Hero air purifier, we plan to widely promote the importance of the bottom-suction function to customers."
Coway introduced the 'Topper Replacement Mattress Hybrid 4,' which combines high-density memory foam and dual independent springs to provide comfort. This product uses wool padding with excellent breathability and moisture absorption on the topper, the upper part of the mattress that directly contacts the body, allowing for a cozy experience.
It also uses high-resilience viscoelastic memory foam that slowly recovers when pressure is applied, evenly distributing body pressure and preventing tossing and turning during sleep.
In particular, the spring hardness is arranged differently across seven zones according to the body's curves to effectively distribute body weight and delicately support the entire body. The waist is firmly supported, while the shoulders and hips are gently cushioned, creating optimized comfort for each body part and helping maintain the correct sleeping posture, according to the company.
A Coway representative said, "With a total of 840 densely packed independent springs, it provides balanced stability even with a partner’s movements and can always be used firmly."
Kyowon Group is also providing customers with a comfortable living environment through the home care service of its comprehensive health appliance brand 'Wells.' The home care service targets mattresses, air conditioners, washing machines, and bidets, focusing especially on mattresses where bacteria easily breed.
The company explained that mattresses are the most frequently requested product for home care services because they are difficult to clean directly with specialized equipment. Air conditioners and washing machines are also hard to clean internally, increasing the use of professional management services such as sterilization and disassembly cleaning.
