3 Additional COVID-18 Cases Confirmed Related to Hwangsil Sauna in Dobong-gu, Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) related to Hwangsil Sauna in Dobong-gu, Seoul has increased to 8.
On the 27th, Dobong-gu sent an emergency disaster message stating that 3 additional confirmed cases (Dobong 198-200) related to Hwangsil Sauna have been identified. Two of them are family members of existing confirmed cases, and the remaining one is a sauna user.
Earlier, on the 26th, 4 people including Dobong 193-196 were confirmed positive. Patient number 196 worked at the sauna.
The cluster infection at Hwangsil Sauna is linked to the cluster infection at Yemaru Daycare Center in Dobong-gu. The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters classify the confirmed cases from Hwangsil Sauna as part of the 'Yemaru Daycare Center cluster infection.'
Dobong case number 184 stayed at Hwangsil Sauna from around 8:00 AM to 6:15 PM on the 20th. The next day, the 21st, he used Yemaru Daycare Center from 9:00 AM to 6:20 PM. He underwent a COVID-19 test on the 22nd and was confirmed positive on the 24th.
