Krafton Launches Integrated Corporation... Strengthening Independent Studio System
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Krafton announced on the 25th that it will launch a new integrated corporation and strengthen its independent studio system.
The non-development organizations of Krafton and PUBG Corporation will merge to form the integrated corporation.
The integrated corporation will play a role in creating a work environment that allows independent studios?such as PUBG Studio, Bluehole Studio which develops MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games), and studios focused on casual games?to continuously grow.
Krafton plans to concretize a model to establish a collaborative system between the integrated corporation and the independent studios in the future.
Kim Chang-han, CEO of Krafton, said, "Krafton will operate as a production-centered content development company," adding, "Going forward, the integrated corporation will create a multifaceted work environment so that independent studios can focus on development and lead them to achieve their goals."
