[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] SC First Bank announced on the 25th that Executive Director Ki-kyung Lee of the Branch & PB Segment Business Division and Deputy Director Ji-hye Bae of the Card Product Team were selected for the ‘2020 Heroes Women Role Model List,’ jointly hosted by financial portal Yahoo Finance and Involve, a global network supporting workplace diversity and inclusion.
Involve annually selects executives and leaders who lead the discovery of female talent and gender equality worldwide and drive changes in corporate culture, announcing them under the name ‘Heroes Women Role Models.’
Since last year, in collaboration with Yahoo Finance, the list has been selected in three categories: 100 female executives who contributed to creating a work environment comfortable for women and promoting diversity and inclusion; 100 future female leaders who contribute to enhancing diversity and inclusion and serve as organizational role models; and 50 male executives and leaders who supported the establishment of a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Executive Director Lee was selected as one of the 100 female executives who contributed to workplace diversity and inclusion. She has led the Gender Equality Network under SC First Bank’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee (D&I), supporting gender balance and inclusive growth. In particular, last year, she played a leading role in signing a voluntary agreement on the ‘Gender Balance and Inclusive Growth Partnership’ with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and this month, she received a commendation from the Minister of Gender Equality and Family for her contributions to improving women’s status and realizing a gender-equal society.

Deputy Director Bae was ranked first among the 100 future female leaders who serve as organizational role models. Since last year, she has been conducting the ‘Women Venture Scale-up Program’ in collaboration with the Korea Women Venture Association, supporting the business capacity enhancement and networking activation of female venture CEOs. Additionally, through active external activities in networks such as the Women in Finance Network, she helps the growth and development of female talent in the financial sector and various industries.
