View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] The Shinhan Social Contribution Foundation announced on the 23rd that it has delivered emergency relief funds to support the prompt recovery from the recent fire damage at the Cheongnyangni Fruit and Vegetable Market and to comfort the traditional market merchants who suffered significant losses ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
The foundation held a relief fund delivery ceremony at Daemyeong Shinhan in Yongdu-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, attended by Namgung Cheongwan, director of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea, Kim Ki-sung, chairman of the Seoul Regional Credit Union Council, Kim Jong-gu, chairman of Daemyeong Shinhan, Jeong Ae-ran, chairman of Cheongnyangni Shinhan, and Lee Young-nam, a member of the Dongdaemun District Council. The relief fund of 15 million won was handed over to the president of the Cheongnyangni Fruit and Vegetable Market Merchants Association. It will be used to support the affected merchants through the National Disaster Relief Association.
