Nambu University and Samil Paraview Scholarship Foundation Join Hands for Industry-Academia Cooperation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Nambu University (President Cho Seong-su) announced on the 23rd that it has signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with Samil Construction Co., Ltd. and the Samil Paraview Cultural Scholarship Foundation (Chairman and Director Choi Gap-ryeol).
Through the agreement, both institutions agreed to cooperate for mutual development and an organic relationship in areas such as intellectual property creation, research and development, employment, and academic exchange.
The agreement includes ▲ mutual information exchange on technology and management guidance ▲ lectures by company executives and professionals and corporate training for professors ▲ providing students with opportunities for field visits and internships ▲ joint use of facilities and equipment ▲ joint participation in various planning and projects.
Attending the signing ceremony were Cho Seong-su, President of Nambu University; Choi Gap-ryeol, Chairman of Samil Construction and Director of the Samil Paraview Cultural Scholarship Foundation; Ryu Chang-gyu, Vice President of Nambu University; Hwang Gyu-seok, Director of Planning; Kim Dong-bok, Director of Industry-Academia Cooperation; Kim Young-sik, Head of the Department of Martial Arts Security; Choi In-sul, President of Samil Construction; Kim Maeng-su, Vice President; Lee Hak-jae, Executive Director; and Heo Bong-hwan, Executive Director, among others.
The Samil Paraview Cultural Scholarship Foundation also donated 10 million won in scholarships to Nambu University on the day.
President Cho Seong-su expressed gratitude, saying, “Despite the challenging business environment due to COVID-19, we appreciate the donation of scholarships for the development of the school and nurturing talent.”
