Korea Investment & Securities Reports 4 Additional COVID-19 Confirmed Cases
[Asia Economy Reporter Koh Hyung-kwang] Korea Investment & Securities announced on the 23rd that a total of four new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have occurred, including three employees from partner companies and one employee from the headquarters. It was reported that all of them were diagnosed positive while under self-quarantine.
Earlier, an external contractor who had visited the 12th floor of Korea Investment & Securities' Yeouido headquarters building was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on the 20th. Accordingly, Korea Investment & Securities instructed all employees working on that floor to self-quarantine and undergo COVID-19 testing starting from the 21st. As a result, three partner company employees and one headquarters employee tested positive.

Last month, one employee working at Korea Investment & Securities' Yeouido headquarters was confirmed positive for COVID-19. The company stated, "Since key employees in each department have already been working remotely, all operations are proceeding normally," and added, "We will strengthen access control for outsiders entering the headquarters building and increase the number of remote workers to fully focus on quarantine efforts."
