Woori Bank Wins Grand Prize in Senior Job Contribution Category Hosted by Ministry of Health and Welfare
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Woori Bank announced on the 22nd that it has won the grand prize in the senior job contribution institution category, hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The Senior Job Week ceremony is an event organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, where awards are given to outstanding institutions and contributing organizations for senior job creation and social contribution support projects. This year’s ceremony was held online to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and the award presentations by key officials, including Kwon Kwang-seok, President of Woori Bank, were replaced with online support messages.
Since June, Woori Bank has participated in the government-led ‘Senior Job Public Interest Activity Participation Onnuri Gift Certificate Distribution Project,’ matching 150 Woori Bank branches near 671 senior job institutions nationwide to not only procure gift certificates but also dispatch branch employees to support the distribution of gift certificates at the institutions. Additionally, Woori Bank actively promoted senior jobs through digital posters installed at branches nationwide.
