Hyundai Department Store Operates 'Disinfection Patrol' at Chuseok Gift Set Event Venue
'Quarantine-Dedicated Staff' Assigned at Event Venue
Disinfection and Quarantine Conducted Every 30 Minutes
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Hyundai Department Store announced on the 21st that it will operate a 'Disinfection Patrol' system at 15 stores nationwide, including the Apgujeong Main Store, until the 30th to strengthen hygiene and disinfection within department store premises ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
Hyundai Department Store has assigned staff dedicated to disinfection at special event halls for Chuseok gift sets, where customer contact is expected to be frequent, conducting disinfection and sanitation of waiting areas, reception desks, and gift set display shelves every 30 minutes.
Additionally, about 40 to 50 safety personnel and employees at each store patrol the premises to encourage customers to wear masks properly, and provide masks to customers who are not wearing them due to loss or contamination.
