Jeonnam National University Hospital Labor and Management Reach Agreement in 28-Hour Marathon Wage Collective Bargaining
Wage Increase of 2.8% and Promotion of Ward Nursing Staff to Grade 1 Planned
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam National University Hospital (Director Lee Samyong) has dramatically reached an agreement on the '2020 Wage Collective Bargaining' with the Health and Medical Industry Labor Union Jeonnam National University Hospital Branch.
According to Jeonnam National University Hospital on the 18th, the labor and management held a Jeonnam Regional Mediation Meeting from 2 p.m. on the 16th and continued overnight negotiations, reaching a tentative agreement on the wage collective bargaining after a total of 28 hours of marathon negotiations.
The main agreement contents are ▲ 2.8% wage increase ▲ gradual promotion of upgrading ward nursing staff to grade 1 ▲ recruitment of 50 additional staff in each department ▲ consultation and decision on the timing and method of converting outsourced workers to regular employees.
