[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] The Blue House conveyed in its response to a public petition opposing the Seoul Queer Culture Festival that this year's event will be held online.
On the 18th, the Blue House stated, "The petitioner requested the cancellation of the festival, claiming that the Seoul Queer Culture Festival will be held for 12 days from September 18 despite all official gatherings being canceled due to COVID-19. This petition, posted on July 20, has garnered participation from 235,016 citizens."
