Issuance of Dobong Sarang Gift Certificates Worth 3 Billion Won at 10 AM on the 18th... 10% Discount for Chuseok, Monthly Purchase Limit of 700,000 Won per Person
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Dobong-gu (Mayor Dong-jin Lee) will issue an additional 3 billion KRW worth of Dobong Love Gift Certificates at 10 a.m. on the 18th to support small business owners struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to revitalize the stagnant local economy.
The Dobong Love Gift Certificates have been issued four times this year, totaling 10 billion KRW.
They sold out early due to residents' positive response, thanks to a 10-15% discount, contactless payment methods that help prevent COVID-19, and convenient use at many affiliated stores.
Including this issuance, a total of 13 billion KRW will have been issued.
The Dobong Love Gift Certificates are mobile gift certificates based on Zero Pay and come in denominations of 10,000 KRW, 50,000 KRW, and 100,000 KRW.
Additionally, individuals can purchase gift certificates up to 700,000 KRW at a 10% discount and hold up to 2 million KRW in total.
Purchases can be made through 13 mobile applications (Beeple Zero Pay, Check Pay, Money Tree, Fint, Payco, Fink, T-money Pay, Nonghyup, Busan Bank, Daegu Bank, Gyeongnam Bank, Jeonbuk Bank, Gwangju Bank).
There are a total of 6,647 Zero Pay affiliated stores in Dobong-gu. Among these, Dobong Love Gift Certificates can be used at Zero Pay affiliated stores excluding large supermarkets, department stores, and entertainment establishments, in line with the purpose of increasing small business sales.
