Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation Implements 'Traffic Signal Synchronization' at 101 Intersections in Dasan New Town
[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) has successfully established an optimal traffic signal system through the traffic signal synchronization project in Dasan New Town, Namyangju.
This project was promoted from the second half of last year in collaboration with the Road Traffic Authority to comprehensively review traffic conditions and civil complaints, aiming to provide an efficient and safe signal system.
The applicable section includes 101 intersections within Dasan New Town.
With this traffic signal synchronization, GH expects to minimize vehicle congestion, enhance pedestrian safety, and reduce environmental pollution and achieve economic benefits by decreasing energy use through smooth vehicle flow.
