Haman-gun Signs Investment Agreement with Pungjin Food and Two Other Companies in Daesan Jangam Agricultural and Industrial Complex
Haman County signed an investment agreement (MOU) on the 15th with Pungjin Food Co., Ltd., Cheongho Industry Co., Ltd., and Youngwon Fertilizer Co., Ltd. to maintain companies within the Daesan Jangam Agricultural and Industrial Complex.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Haman County, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 16th that it has signed an investment agreement (MOU) with Pungjin Food Co., Ltd., Cheongho Industry Co., Ltd., and Youngwon Fertilizer Co., Ltd. to attract companies to the Daesan Jangam Agricultural and Industrial Complex.
The agreement ceremony was held on the 15th in the county office, attended by Haman County Governor Jo Geun-je, Cheongho Industry CEO Lim Gyu-sik, Pungjin Food CEO Yoon Chang-soo, Youngwon Fertilizer CEO Lim Dae-eop, and other related officials.
According to the county, Pungjin Food Co., Ltd. plans to invest 10.1 billion KRW by next year to build agricultural product manufacturing and processing facilities on a 6,610㎡ site within the Jangam Agricultural and Industrial Complex, and the county will provide administrative support for the factory construction.
Additionally, Cheongho Industry Co., Ltd. agreed to invest 7.4 billion KRW to build an agricultural product storage warehouse on an 8,328.2㎡ site within the complex, and Youngwon Fertilizer Co., Ltd. agreed to invest 4.5 billion KRW to build fertilizer manufacturing facilities on a 6,610㎡ site within the complex.
The Daesan Jangam Agricultural and Industrial Complex was designated as an investment promotion district in 2013. Companies investing in designated investment promotion districts can receive location subsidies covering up to 50% of land acquisition costs, employment subsidies up to 300 million KRW, and education, training, equipment, and relocation subsidies up to 200 million KRW each.

Governor Jo said, “We are very grateful to the three companies participating in the investment agreement within the Jangam Agricultural and Industrial Complex, designated as an investment promotion district in Haman County,” and added, “We will actively support the investment companies to grow into sound local enterprises.”
