Increase in Autonomous District Media Team Leaders and Reporting Chiefs from Universities like Korea University, Yonsei University, Sungkyunkwan University, Ewha Womans University, Hankuk University, Dongguk University, and Sookmyung Women's University Joining

According to Seoul districts on the 16th, as the number of public officials from prestigious Seoul universities such as Korea University, Yonsei University, Sungkyunkwan University, Ewha Womans University, Hanyang University, Sookmyung Women’s University, and Dongguk University gradually increases, the number of those from these universities joining the press departments, which play an important role in district office publicity, is also rising.
Among Korea University alumni are Jo Hoyoung, head of the media team in Guro District; Baek Jeonghyun, head of the media team in Geumcheon District (7th grade); and Heo Junnyeong in Seodaemun District, Park Miseon in Yeongdeungpo District, and Kwon Minjeong, assistant manager in Gangnam District.
Among Yonsei University alumni are Yoon Jeongtak, assistant manager in Seocho District (7th grade); among Sungkyunkwan University alumni are Mok Jinkyung, manager in Seocho District, and Hong Juyeong, assistant manager in Gangnam District (7th grade); among Ewha Womans University alumni are Na Jina, head of the media team in Seodaemun District; Kim Yumi (7th grade) and Park Hyoeun, assistant managers in Mapo District; and Lee Sooyoung, assistant manager in Gangseo District.
Among Hanyang University alumni is Jeon Yeeun, assistant manager in Jungnang District; among Sookmyung Women’s University alumni is Jo Eunyeong, assistant manager in Gangbuk District; among Dongguk University alumni are Im Eungyeong, head of the media team in Eunpyeong District; Yoo Jaehwa, head of the media team in Gangdong District; Kim Dongguk in Songpa District; Kim Eunae in Seongdong District; Lim Seunggyu in Seocho District; Song Minseon in Dongdaemun District; and Jeong Suhyeon, assistant manager in Yangcheon District.
Among Kyung Hee University alumni are Kim Eunju, head of the media team in Gangnam District; Yoo Minhee, assistant manager in Yeongdeungpo District; and Shim Ahyoung, assistant manager in Jongno District.
Among Dankook University alumni are Oh Yonghwan, head of the media team, and Park Seoktae, manager, both working in Songpa District.
Among Pusan National University alumni are Kim Jaehun, assistant manager in Yongsan District, and Jeong Mirang, assistant manager in Seongdong District.
As the educational level of Seoul district public officials gradually rises, the number of officials from these universities occupying positions such as media team heads and press assistants, which play important roles in district publicity, is steadily increasing.
This trend is also due to Seoul district mayors increasingly recognizing the importance of publicity work and tending to assign personnel with good academic backgrounds to publicity departments whenever possible.
