80,000 Apartment Move-Ins Nationwide in Q4 This Year... About 12,000 Units in Seoul

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] It has been surveyed that 80,000 apartment units nationwide will be moving in over the next three months starting next month. Seoul will welcome 12,000 households, an 8% increase compared to the previous year.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 16th that the number of apartments scheduled for move-in nationwide in the fourth quarter of this year (October to December) was counted at 80,635 units. The scheduled move-in volume in Seoul was counted at 12,097 units, which is a 7.9% increase compared to about 11,000 units in the same period last year.
In the metropolitan area, 48,534 units are scheduled, a 37.5% increase compared to about 35,000 units in the same period last year, while in the provinces, 32,101 units are scheduled, a 47.6% decrease compared to about 61,000 units in the same period last year.

View original imageIn Seoul, where 2,087 units are scheduled for move-in next month, new move-ins are concentrated in Yeongdeungpo-gu. Along with 'Hillstate Classian' in Singil-dong (1,476 units), move-ins are scheduled for 'e-Pyeon Sesang Mullae' in Mullae-dong (263 units) and 'Forena Yeongdeungpo' in Yeongdeungpo-dong (182 units).
In November, move-ins are scheduled for only three complexes: ▲ 'Sinmagok Byeoksan Blooming' in Banghwa-dong, Gangseo-gu (298 units) ▲ 'Bukhansan Doosan We’ve 2nd Phase' in Hong Eun-dong, Seodaemun-gu (296 units) ▲ 'Samjeon Solheim' urban lifestyle housing in Oryu-dong, Guro-gu (108 units), totaling 702 units welcoming residents for the first time.
In December, which has the largest number of scheduled move-ins at 8,588 units over the three months, large-scale complex move-ins are planned. In Goduk Gangil District, Gangdong-gu alone, ▲ '4th Complex National Rental' (396 units) ▲ '6th Complex Long-term Lease and National Rental' (1,244 units) ▲ '7th Complex Long-term Lease and National Rental' (1,025 units) ▲ '9th Complex Long-term Lease and National Rental' (366 units) ▲ 'Gangdong Rien Park 11th Complex Happy Housing' (600 units) totaling 3,631 units are scheduled to move in.
Additionally, ▲ 'Dream Forest I-Park' in Jangwi-dong, Seongbuk-gu (1,711 units) ▲ 'Forena Nowon' in Sanggye-dong, Nowon-gu (1,062 units) ▲ 'Singil Park Xi' in Singil-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu (641 units) are also moving in December.

In December, ▲ 'Siheung Eungye S-4 Block Park Xi Public Sale' in Daeya-dong, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do (1,719 units) ▲ 'Hillstate Jije Station' in Dongsak-dong, Pyeongtaek-si (1,519 units), totaling 10,912 units are scheduled for move-in.

Regarding the size of housing supplied in Seoul, 6,957 units are 60㎡ (exclusive area) or less, 4,277 units are between 60 and 85㎡, and 863 units exceed 85㎡, with small and medium-sized units under 85㎡ accounting for 92.9% (11,234 units) of the total 12,097 units. Nationwide, small and medium-sized units account for 95.1% (76,681 units) of the total 80,635 units.
