This decision by the city follows the government’s announcement on the 11th of the ‘Small Business New Hope Fund’ support plan, which provides 1 million KRW to small business owners with annual sales under 400 million KRW whose sales have decreased compared to the previous year.
Additionally, high-risk facility industries subject to gathering bans under social distancing level 2 measures will receive an extra 1 million KRW, totaling 2 million KRW. However, ‘entertainment establishments’ and ‘noraebang’ among the high-risk facilities subject to gathering bans are excluded from support.
