Gimcheon-si Supports Family Medical Expenses for Households with Three Children... 50,000 Won per Household
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gimcheon City, Gyeongbuk Province, announced that 236 households applied by the deadline on the 11th for the medical expense co-payment support project for families with three or more children, promoted as part of the childbirth encouragement policy. The total number of eligible households is 296.
The medical expense support project for families with three or more children applies to households residing in Gimcheon City, where the youngest child is under 13 years old (born after January 1, 2008). The support amount is up to 50,000 KRW per household.
Unlike previous years when applications were received at the public health center, this year Gimcheon City conducted the process as a drive-through at the Comprehensive Sports Town parking lot, considering social distancing measures due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
