Open Recruitment for Entry-Level General Staff and Ongoing Hiring in Corporate Finance/WM, Digital/ICT, and Specialized Fields
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Shinhan Bank announced on the 14th that it will conduct the 2020 second half open recruitment for new employees and occasional recruitment for specialized fields to contribute to job creation and secure outstanding talent.
This recruitment will be conducted for a total of 250 positions, including ▲open recruitment for general new employees ▲occasional recruitment for experienced professionals in Corporate Finance and Wealth Management (WM) ▲occasional recruitment in Digital and ICT ▲special recruitment for master's and doctoral degrees in Digital and ICT ▲occasional recruitment for ICT specialized high schools ▲and customized occasional recruitment for specialized fields.
Starting today, Shinhan Bank will proceed with the open recruitment for general new employees in the order of document screening, written test, job suitability interview, and final interview. Among these, the job suitability interview will be converted to individual video interviews as a preventive measure against COVID-19, and applicants will be evaluated from multiple angles through various interview programs including artificial intelligence (AI) competency assessments.
Occasional recruitment for experienced professionals in Corporate Finance and WM will also begin today. The recruitment scope will be expanded by adding WM roles to the Corporate Finance experienced recruitment established in April this year, aiming to hire customized talent in various fields.
The deadline for document submission varies by recruitment category, and detailed information can be found on the Shinhan Bank recruitment website.
Digital and ICT occasional recruitment and ICT specialized high school occasional recruitment started on the 1st of this month. Through the Digital and ICT occasional recruitment introduced last year, Shinhan Bank has been continuously hiring core talents with ICT capabilities and digital expertise, and this time, a special recruitment track for master's and doctoral degrees in Digital and ICT has been newly established.
In particular, Shinhan Bank actively invests in digital innovation, having launched the AI Integrated Center (AICC) on the 2nd to lead banking transformation centered on AI, and the first digital branch without counters in the financial sector, and plans to significantly expand recruitment of talents with digital and ICT capabilities in the future.
Additionally, customized occasional recruitment for specialized fields will select talents specialized in areas such as Investment Banking (IB), financial engineering, digital planning, and professional certifications, and is scheduled to take place next month.
