Using Financial Services via Mobile Web Without App Installation or Public Certificate
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 14th that it has launched a new web-based digital platform called 'KB Mobile Branch.'
KB Mobile Branch is a service that allows any individual customer to subscribe to financial products through non-face-to-face real-name verification procedures such as mobile phone identity verification or ID card photography, without using an application (app) or a public certificate.
Access is possible through various routes, including ▲ accessing via a link sent by a branch employee ▲ scanning a QR code on the employee's business card or product brochure ▲ connection through internet portal sites (Naver). Through this, customers can subscribe to a total of 39 products, including ▲ five types of deposit products (demand deposits and savings/deposits) ▲ comprehensive housing subscription savings ▲ retirement pension (DC) subscription ▲ household loans (credit, jeonse, mortgage, automobile) ▲ cards (check, credit), and the service will continue to expand.
To commemorate the launch of KB Mobile Branch, KB Kookmin Bank is also holding an event until the 11th of next month, where 1,500 customers who subscribe to products (excluding loan products) will be selected by lottery to receive Starbucks gifticons.
