Korea Yakult Partners with CJ... Sales Through 'Bibigo' Fresh Manager

Korea Yakult announced on the 14th that it will sell CJ CheilJedang’s global Korean food representative brand ‘Bibigo’ products through the online mall HiFresh.
This collaboration was realized as the demand for expanding product categories and channels between the two companies aligned.
CJ CheilJedang focused on Korea Yakult’s sales organization and delivery system. The nationwide 11,000 ‘Fresh Managers’ deliver using the refrigerated cart ‘Coco,’ enabling handling of products from room temperature to refrigerated foods. Customers can specify delivery date and time, and regular delivery is available, making meal preparation convenient. Another advantage is free delivery regardless of the order amount. This fits the recent consumer pattern of purchasing small quantities frequently.
The ‘Bibigo’ products introduced on HiFresh include a total of 10 items: 6 types of soup dishes and 4 types of grilled fish.
‘Bibigo Soup Dishes’ are room-temperature ready meals that allow easy enjoyment of representative Korean dishes such as guk (soup), tang (stew), and jjigae (hot pot). They are flavored with generous ingredients and broth cooked directly. ‘Bibigo Grilled Fish’ is a refrigerated seafood ready meal that makes it easy to enjoy grilled fish at home, which was previously difficult due to fishy smell and smoke. Each serving is individually packed in trays and can be eaten immediately after 1 minute of microwave cooking.
