On the 11th (local time), the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in London announced via its website and social media that the consular office will be temporarily closed until the 13th.
After one of the embassy staff tested positive for COVID-19, the embassy building was evacuated that morning and emergency disinfection measures are currently underway.
The embassy plans to conduct COVID-19 tests on staff members who had close contact with the confirmed employee. After completing disinfection over the weekend, the embassy intends to resume normal operations starting Monday, the 14th.
