[Weekend Weather] Rain Expected Across the Country... Inland Morning Temperatures Around 20 Degrees
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] This weekend, rain is expected in various parts of the country. Morning temperatures will drop to around 20 degrees Celsius inland, making it somewhat cool.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 11th, the morning low temperatures on the 12th and 13th are forecasted to be 16?21°C and 13?20°C respectively, with daytime highs of 20?28°C and 21?26°C.
On Saturday the 12th, the country will be mostly cloudy. Rain is expected in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, and Jeolla provinces at dawn; in Gyeongnam and Jeju Island in the morning; along the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk until the afternoon; and in Gangwon Province until the daytime of the 13th. Sporadic raindrops are also expected in the inland areas of Gyeongbuk from dawn to morning on the 12th.
Expected rainfall on the 11th and 12th is 30?80 mm in Yeongdong, Gangwon (over 100 mm in the northern mountainous areas of Gangwon), 10?60 mm in the southern coast of Jeonnam, eastern coast of Gyeongbuk, coastal areas of Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island, and 5?30 mm in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Yeongseo of Gangwon, Chungcheong, Jeolla (excluding southern coast), inland Gyeongnam, Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and the five islands in the West Sea.
On Sunday the 13th, the morning will be mostly cloudy nationwide, with increasing clouds in the afternoon. Showers may occur in the inland areas of Jeolla in the afternoon due to atmospheric instability.
