View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] Booyoung Housing announced on the 11th that it will supply the remaining units of the 'Chungbuk Ochang Sarangro Booyoung' rental apartments located in the 2nd Industrial Complex, Ochang-eup, Cheongwon-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungbuk.
Chungbuk Ochang Sarangro Booyoung, consisting of a total of 4 complexes from the 5th to the 8th complex, comprises 42 buildings ranging from basement level 1 to a maximum of 25 floors above ground, with 57~82㎡ (exclusive area) and a total of 3,100 units. The rental prices based on jeonse (long-term deposit lease) are 115 million KRW for 57㎡ and 155 million KRW for 82㎡. Prospective tenants can visit the units in person before making a decision, and immediate move-in is possible. One-year contracts are also available.
The apartments are backed by approximately 16,000 workers from the Ochang 1st and 2nd Industrial Complexes and the Osong Life Science Complex, leading to steady inquiries regarding rentals.
Within the complex, there is the Booyoung Sarangro Daycare Center operated by the Booyoung Group. The Booyoung Group’s Childcare Support Team selects verified directors at the level of public institutions, and the daycare is operated with systematic childcare programs and consulting by childcare experts, making it a safe daycare center. Since there is no daycare rent, the financial burden on parents is significantly reduced.
Changri Elementary School is located in the middle of the four complexes, enabling safe commuting for children, and Ochang Middle and High Schools are also nearby. There is a large discount mart nearby, and Ochang Lake Park and Ochang Food Town are close, providing a pleasant living environment. In terms of transportation, the Cheongju Ochang North Bus Terminal began operations this month, and KTX Osong Station is located about a 20-minute drive away.
One of the expected advantages is the nearby development boom. In Cheongju-si, where the complex is located, the construction of a 'Synchrotron Radiation Accelerator,' a core facility for basic science research and advanced industrial research such as new drugs and semiconductors, has been confirmed. This 'ultra-precision giant microscope' is intended for basic science research and is a state-of-the-art experimental device necessary for advanced industries such as new materials, bio, life sciences, semiconductors, displays, and new drug development. The Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI) analyzes that the construction of the synchrotron accelerator will generate a production inducement effect of 6.7 trillion KRW, a value-added inducement effect of 2.4 trillion KRW, and create approximately 137,000 jobs.
