Kim Kwang-young, who has always demonstrated an exceptional spirit of volunteerism and sharing, has operated a photo studio for over 50 years, providing free portrait photos for about 600 elderly residents in difficult circumstances within the district, and has also reduced rent for small business owners struggling due to COVID-19, embodying the true meaning of neighborly love.
CEO Kim said, “I believe that life is more meaningful when we move forward together with our neighbors rather than alone,” and added, “I hope my sharing will be of some help to the local residents and the development of the city.”
Kim Jong-sik, Mayor of Mokpo City, said, “In these tiring and difficult times of the COVID-19 era, Kim Kwang-young’s recent good deed serves as a model for our community,” and added, “The donated real estate will be effectively used as a space for the urban regeneration project to meaningfully enhance Mokpo’s urban brand competitiveness.”
