Seven Eleven Supports Soldiers with Beverages in Flood Recovery Efforts
Support of 15,000 Beverages to Military Units Assisting Flood Victims in Jeonnam Region
6,000 Snacks Delivered to Two Military Units in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi and Cheorwon, Gangwon in August
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Convenience store Seven Eleven has launched support activities to cheer on military personnel who are working hard to restore flood-affected areas damaged by the monsoon and typhoons.
Seven Eleven announced on the 8th that, together with the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, it has provided 15,000 large-capacity (1L) beverages to soldiers from two local military units engaged in civil support activities in the flood-affected areas of Jeonnam.
This beverage sponsorship is part of Seven Eleven's Love for the Country campaign, which has been ongoing since 2014. Above all, it was planned to express gratitude and encouragement for the efforts of the military personnel who are striving for the rapid recovery and stabilization of communities severely damaged by the floods.
Earlier, in mid-August, Seven Eleven also supported 6,000 breads and beverages to soldiers from two military units involved in flood recovery efforts in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi, and Cheorwon, Gangwon regions.
