Donation boxes operated in district office lobbies on 2nd and 5th floors until the 18th... Items to be distributed to users of the district Food Bank Market Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yongsan-gu (District Mayor Seongjang Hyun) will continue the Chuseok Donation Sharing Tonghana Campaign until the 18th.
This is to spread the culture of donation in the community ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
If you put long-lasting food items (canned goods, ramen, rice, etc.) and daily necessities (shampoo, detergent, tissue, sanitary pads, etc.) into the donation boxes installed in the 2nd and 5th floor lobbies of the district office, they will be delivered as warm holiday gifts to neighbors in need.
The beneficiaries are about 700 users of the district's Food Bank Market Center.
Last Lunar New Year, the district also installed Tonghana donation boxes and received 572 items (equivalent to 2.99 million KRW) donated by residents.
