[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) decided to produce ‘Integrity Masks’ containing integrity empathy messages written by residents and employees in the YouTube comment section during the 'Integrity Restaurant, Eunpyeong-ro 195' integrity talk concert held on the 14th of last month, and will distribute them to civil service departments.
An official from Eunpyeong-gu stated, “Through the production and distribution of the Integrity Masks, we plan to actively participate in preventing the spread of COVID-19 by following the social distancing level 2 quarantine measures and to promote the spread of integrity empathy within the workplace.”
On the 14th of last month, Eunpyeong-gu held the nation’s first real-time non-face-to-face integrity talk concert 'Integrity Restaurant, Eunpyeong-ro 195' via a YouTube channel, with the participation of the Eunpyeong-gu mayor, Eunpyeong Integrity Governance, and employee representatives. The event was successfully concluded with about 3,100 views on the day amid enthusiastic interest from Eunpyeong residents and employees.
In particular, through case videos produced based on employees’ ideas about common issues such as violations of the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act and workplace power harassment, the event addressed conflicts among citizens and public officials, seniors and juniors, and generations, openly sharing opinions. It was evaluated as opening a new form of integrity culture empathy space to establish an integrity culture despite the difficulties of COVID-19.
